Low self-esteem is something that happens overtime. It is not a condition that happens instantaneously. Usually, someone who has a low self-esteem would most likely have developed it from their childhood or teenage years.

In addition to this, children who are obese are regular victims of bullying. People pick on them because of their weight and size.

Children who are victims of bullying often have low self-esteem. It takes a lot of motivation and encouragement to get these children back on track.

If you check most cultures, you will discover that women have a low self-esteem than men on a general scale.

Furthermore, people who have sexual orientations like gays, lesbians, transgender and the likes, they are likely to have a low self-esteem.
